Every review on this site was written by a customer. Before a review is published a person on our team reads it. That check is for spam and abuse, not for opinion.
What we check for
A review is held back only when it is one of these:
- Spam: advertising, repeated or automated posts, or content copied from somewhere else.
- Abuse: threats, harassment or slurs aimed at anyone.
- Personal information: names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, order numbers, licence keys or anything else that identifies a person or could be misused.
- Off-topic content: text that is not about the product or the service you received.
- Fraud: reviews written for a product the account never bought, or written in exchange for something.
- Illegal content.
What we do not do
- We never reject a review for being negative. A one star review that is honest and about the product is published exactly like a five star review.
- We never ask you to explain a low rating before you can post it, and a review can be as short as you like.
- We never edit the wording of a review. If a review cannot be published as written, it is rejected with a reason from the list above and nothing else.
- We never publish a star rating you did not give. Testimonials imported from our Discord are shown without stars, are labelled as unrated, and are not counted in any average.
Photos
Photos attached to a review are checked one by one for personal information (for example a serial number, a name, a face or a document) before they are shown. A review can be published while its photos are still being checked.
Verified purchases
A review shows the "Verified purchase" badge only when our records show that the account bought the product, or a version of it, before writing the review. Reviews without the badge are still published; the badge only tells you what we could confirm.
Responses and reporting
Our staff may reply to a review. Replies are labelled with the name of the staff member and the date, and they never change the review itself. Any signed-in member can report a review that appears to break these rules, and every decision we make is logged with the reason.
Removing your review
You can edit or delete your own review at any time from the review itself. To have an imported testimonial removed, use the one-click removal link that came with the message asking for your permission, or contact us.
