You take a kitted M4 and a full Thicc case into Reserve, get head-eyed from a window you never heard open, and lose forty minutes and a quarter of your stash value in one second. That is the actual problem behind most searches for Escape from Tarkov cheats. Not fantasy, just the fact that Tarkov punishes a single mistake harder than any other shooter on the market.

This page covers what these products genuinely do inside Tarkov, how DMA and internal setups differ, how to think about the choice before you spend anything, and what the account risk honestly looks like.

It is written for somebody deciding what to buy, not for someone who already has two DMA rigs on a desk. Nothing here is a promise of safety. Nobody credible can offer one.

What Escape from Tarkov cheats actually do

Most sales pages run the same short list of bullet points for every game they carry. Tarkov does not behave like other games, so neither do the features. Here is what each family means in raid.

Aim assistance

Time to kill in Tarkov is decided by ammo penetration against armour class and by which hitbox you touch, not by raw accuracy. An aim feature that pulls to thorax while you are firing low penetration rounds at a class 6 rig just feeds your ammo into a plate and gets you killed anyway. That is why decent implementations let you set bone priority, a field of view limit, and smoothing, rather than snapping.

Tarkov also models bullet drop and ballistic drag. Past roughly 150 to 200 metres on Woods, Shoreline or Streets, hitting anything means leading and holding over, so aim correction that accounts for projectile travel is a meaningfully different thing to a flat crosshair snap. Recoil control is a separate setting again, and it is the one a spectator notices first, because Tarkov's vertical climb and horizontal wander are distinctive. Most people run it low or leave it alone.

The other thing Tarkov adds that most shooters do not is desync. Where a player is drawn on your screen and where the server believes they are can differ by a body width in a bad raid, and the gap widens the faster both of you are moving. Correction that locks hard onto a rendered position will confidently put rounds through empty air behind a strafing PMC. It is another argument for low smoothing values and a narrow field of view rather than the aggressive settings people reach for first.

Weapon handling is the same story. Tarkov applies inertia to movement and to weapon swing, so the gun does not arrive where the camera points at the moment the camera stops. Aim help that fights that inertia produces the exact stuttering tracking that reads as obviously wrong in a killcam.

In practice, aim assistance in this game matters less for winning duels you started and more for not losing them. A small correction after you have already committed to a peek is the gap between a thorax hit and an empty magazine.

Visual overlays and ESP

Player overlays show position, distance, health and often what someone is holding. The important Tarkov detail is the PMC, scav and player scav distinction. Shooting a player scav while you are running a scav wrecks your Fence reputation, and a fight with an AI scav is rarely worth the ammo or the noise, so knowing which is which before you commit changes whether you engage at all.

Loot overlays are where Tarkov separates from every other shooter. A value filter set to a rouble threshold means you stop seeing screws and bolts and start seeing the LEDX, the graphics card and the ledger. Because the flea market prices almost everything, a rouble filter is really a stash space filter: Tarkov raid value is concentrated in a small number of items, and the rest is weight you carry to the extract for very little. Quest item highlighting handles the fetch quests that otherwise send you back to the same three rooms over and over. Container overlays that show what is inside a jacket, duffle or sportbag before you open it are, minute for minute, the single largest change to raid profit of any feature in the list, because Tarkov looting is mostly a time tax.

Corpse markers point you at whoever died to Killa twenty minutes before you arrived. Exfil overlays show extract points and their status, which matters most on Lighthouse and Streets where half the extracts are conditional or cost you an item. Chams and visibility checks colour a player differently depending on whether they are actually in your line of sight, which is the difference between information you can read mid firefight and one more thing to interpret while someone is shooting at you. Tarkov earns that more than most shooters do, because a PMC prone in foliage at forty metres is genuinely hard to resolve. Night raids are the other case, where visibility helpers do more work than anything aim related.

Radar

Tarkov maps are large and, more importantly, vertical. Interchange has three shopping levels plus a roof. Reserve has an entire underground. A 2D radar with elevation tells you whether the footsteps above you are one floor up or three, which audio alone frequently will not. On a DMA setup this usually lives on the second monitor, which is where the word radar comes from in this market.

That elevation reading is doing more work in Tarkov than it would elsewhere, because Tarkov audio is occluded by geometry in ways that misreport direction indoors. Streets and Labs are the worst for it. A player one floor below you in a stairwell and a player behind a wall on your own floor can sound close to identical, and guessing wrong is usually fatal.

Radar is also the least visible feature to other players. It changes your routing and timing rather than your aim, so nobody watching a killcam has anything to point at.

Quality of life and what is not possible

The miscellaneous tier is faster container searching, magazine content checks, stamina and weight helpers, reduced visual sway and extended interaction ranges. Small things that remove friction rather than win fights.

Be clear about the limits, because plenty of sellers are not. Anything the server owns cannot be touched by a client-side product. Loot spawns, flea market prices, your rouble balance, quest completion, trader reputation and insurance returns all live on Battlestate's servers. If a seller offers to give you roubles, spawn items into your stash or complete quests for you, that is not how any of this works and you should close the tab.

DMA vs internal: which one you want for Escape from Tarkov

Internal means the software runs on the same computer as the game and is loaded into the process. You buy a key, follow the loader instructions for that specific product, and play. No hardware, no second machine, nothing to obtain beyond the key itself before you find out whether you even enjoy playing this way.

DMA means a PCIe card sits in the gaming PC and reads memory over direct memory access. A second computer runs the actual software, reads through that card, and draws the overlay on its own display. If you want the overlay back on your main screen you add a capture path such as an HDMI fuser or capture card, and if you want input handled off the game machine you add a hardware input device, commonly called a KMBox in this market, which presents itself to the gaming PC as an ordinary USB mouse. The point of the whole arrangement is that nothing runs on the Windows install that is playing Tarkov.

The gap between the two is hardware, and it is not a small one. A DMA build wants the card, a second PC, usually a capture device and often an input device, and every one of those is a separate physical purchase you make before any software enters the picture. Internal needs none of it. So, a straight recommendation rather than a push toward the hardware route.

  • Unsure whether you will like it, or you only play a handful of raids now and then: buy an internal product on the shortest duration it lists. That is the smallest commitment the format allows, and if you hate it you walk away without a hardware bill.
  • You already own a spare PC and a second monitor: DMA gets much easier to justify, because the only new spend is the card and the capture path.
  • You are considering buying an entire second computer purely for this: be honest about your hours first. That bill only makes sense at a serious play count.

One correction worth making, since the market rarely makes it. DMA is a delivery method, not a feature set and not a shield. It separates the software from the game machine. It does not change what the overlays show you in raid, and it does not remove account risk.

Escape from Tarkov cheats and DMA products at CamUnlocks

The store carries software for Tarkov on both sides of the split described above: internal products that run on the gaming PC, and DMA options driven from a second machine. Which of those is listed at any given moment, what each one is called and what it costs moves with the market and with the wipe cycle, so the live category page is the honest answer rather than a list written here months ago and left to rot.

The advice that does not change is simpler. Start internal unless you already own the hardware, because the key is the only thing you have to buy to learn whether you actually enjoy playing this way. Whatever you pick, take the shortest duration listed before you commit to a longer one, and be especially careful about that near a wipe or a patch, when downtime is most likely. Check the live status page before you pay rather than after. Read the product page itself as well, because feature lists differ between products far more than the marketing around them suggests, and the thing you care about might not be included.

Current products, durations and pricing for the game all live on the Escape from Tarkov category page, which is the only place any of that is kept up to date.

Getting set up

Buy from the Escape from Tarkov category, pick what suits you and check out. Digital products deliver instantly, so the key appears against your order in your CamUnlocks account rather than waiting on a person.

The key goes into the loader for the product you bought. Every product has its own loader and its own prep steps, which is why the documentation is written per product rather than as one generic guide. Read the page for your specific purchase at guides.camunlocks.com before your first raid, not during it.

If you went the DMA route, the hardware has to be in place first: the card in the gaming PC, a second machine to run the software, a capture path if you want the overlay on your main display, and an input device if you want input handled separately. The store lists that hardware alongside the software, and installation help is available if you would rather not do the wiring yourself.

Anything that goes wrong goes to our Discord, where support runs 24/7. One timing note: after a wipe or a game patch, products go offline while they are rebuilt. Check status before committing to a long key on patch day.

Reducing your risk

Account risk in Tarkov is real and permanent. The game runs BattlEye, Battlestate bans in waves rather than instantly, and replacing the game is a serious purchase rather than a free re-download. Anyone selling you certainty is selling you a feeling.

What actually reduces your exposure:

  1. Buy something maintained. A product being actively updated is a product whose developer is still reacting to anti-cheat changes. An abandoned one is not a saving, it is a liability you carry into every raid until the account is gone.
  2. Check the live status page before every session, not just before you buy. If something is marked down or under maintenance, that is the page doing its job.
  3. Do not play like a cheater. Tarkov's community clips and posts everything. Loot routing and radar awareness are invisible. A wall flick in the first ten seconds of a raid is not.
  4. Do not stream or record with an overlay on screen. A large share of people who get caught are caught by other people, not by software.
  5. Keep it off anything you care about, and keep it out of in-game chat and your main Discord.
  6. Turn settings down. Most bad outcomes come from how something was configured, not from what was bought.

Wipe timing deserves its own note here, because it is where people get careless. The raids immediately after a wipe are the most watched of the year: everybody is poor, everybody is running the same early quests through the same rooms, and a player with a full kit clearing Customs dorms in the first hours of a fresh wipe stands out to every other person on the map. Reports from other players are a real route to a ban in this game, and that route is widest exactly when the population is highest.

Our Trustpilot reviews are public and product status is published openly, because the alternative is selling you a key for something that went down yesterday.

Frequently asked questions

Do Escape from Tarkov cheats still work after a wipe or patch?

Usually not immediately. A wipe or a client patch moves things in memory, and every product needs rebuilding against the new build. Expect downtime while that work happens, and expect its length to depend on the product and the size of the patch. Check the public status page before buying, and avoid committing to a long duration on patch day.

How should I try Tarkov cheats for the first time?

With an internal product on the shortest duration it offers. There is no hardware to buy and no long commitment, which is the whole point: you learn whether you enjoy playing this way before you put anything further into it. Short durations exist for exactly that reason. If you decide it is not for you, that is where it ends, and you have not bought a second PC to reach that conclusion.

Do I need a second PC for DMA?

Yes. A DMA setup needs a card in the gaming machine and a separate computer to run the software and display the overlay. Most people also add a capture device and a KMBox for input. If you do not already own a second machine, start with an internal product instead and revisit DMA once you know how much you actually play.

Will an aimbot help if my ammo cannot penetrate?

No, and this catches people out constantly. Tarkov resolves damage through armour class and penetration values, so perfect aim at a plated thorax with weak rounds still fails. Aim assistance helps you land the shot you chose. Choosing the right round and the right hitbox is still your job, and it matters more than any setting in the menu.

Can a cheat give me roubles, loot spawns or completed quests?

No. Those are server-authoritative in Tarkov, meaning Battlestate's servers hold them and no client-side product can change them. Anything sold to you as free roubles, injected stash items or auto-completed quests is either a scam or an account takeover waiting to happen. Client-side features change what you see and how you aim, nothing more.

How fast is delivery?

Digital products deliver instantly. Once checkout completes, the key is attached to your order in your CamUnlocks account and you can load it straight away. Hardware such as DMA cards, KMBox devices and HDMI fusers ships physically, so those follow normal shipping timelines rather than arriving in your account.

What happens if a product goes down during my subscription?

Status changes are posted publicly on the status page, so you can see it rather than guessing from a dead loader. Bring your order to the Discord and support will tell you where things stand, since handling depends on the product, how long it is expected to be down and how much of your duration is left.

If you know what you want, the products listed for the game sit on the Escape from Tarkov category page, which is where current pricing and durations live. Start on a short key, read the docs for whatever you bought, and check status before you queue.
